Hamish Brown

Hamish Brown is a Kiwi currently living with his wife and son in Cornwall, England. Over the past years, his photography has progressed from a weekend hobby into a full blown fervour for trying to capture those quiet, fleeting moments. Like most kids, Brown grew up with a sense of wonder about the night sky, and as his photography has developed over the years, that initial fascination came back full circle. Living in Cornwall gives him the opportunity to capture nightscapes in an area steeped long in history and natural beauty. However, Brown often returns to Hawkes bay when he can, and his photos we have here at Paper-Works were taken on his last trip back on a midnight wander up Te Mata Peak.
