Jake Hassells

Jake Hassells is a nom du buerre given to Jay Cassells many years ago by a law partner early in a stellar legal career - that of the partner. For many years Jay was a cartoonist in Sydney as well as being active in film and media as a producer and writer. In recent times, Jay created an original fish, which then grew into a series of prints of fish, then a poster of a series of fish and now a book of a series of fish. Now he works in Queenstown and is presently contributing cartoons and illustrations to the Queenstown Media Group's Lakes Weekly Bulletin and other publications.
