Sophie Klerk

Sophie is a danish graphic artist currently living in Whanganui. She graduated from Art Centre College of Design, Switzerland, in 1992 with a degree in Graphic design. She moved to New Zealand in 2007 with her partner Julian Priest with whom she established The Green Bench project room in Whanganui. Her work is achieved by combining antique paper, collage elements and painting with digital photo output. She uses her own photography as well as found anonymous images in her process. Sophie has shown her work in New Zealand and overseas.
